How do I clear my browser's cache?
It's true, a clogged cache can slow down and even stop
your browser. Who wants that? Not us. Let's get to work clearing your cache.
Which browser are you using? Instructions are included below for each of these:
- Internet Explorer 5.x for Windows
- Internet Explorer 6.x for Windows
- Mozilla Firefox 1.x for Windows or Mac
- Netscape 7.x for Windows
- Mozilla 1.7 for Windows or Mac
If you're running a browser or version different from
these, your browser's "Help" menu leads you to its method of cache-clearing.
Internet Explorer 5.x
for Windows
- In the "Tools" menu, choose "Internet Options." This
opens the "Internet Options" window.
- Locate the "Temporary Internet Files" heading and
click the "Delete Files" button.
- Click "OK" when prompted.
- Locate the "History" heading and click the "Clear
History" button.
- Click "OK" when prompted.
- Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the Internet
Options window.

Internet Explorer 6.x
for Windows
- In the "Tools" menu, choose "Internet Options." This

- You want to be in the "General" tab, the first tab
to the left along the top of this window. If you're not in this tab, select
it.
- Locate the "Temporary Internet Files" heading and
click the "Delete Files" button within that section. This opens the "Delete
Files" window.
- In this window, either click "OK" directly, or,
first check the box marked "Delete all offline content" if you'd like to do
this as well…and then click "OK." You
might have a brief wait while this operation is performed. The "Delete Files"
window closes and returns you to the "Internet Options" window.
- Locate the "History" heading and click the "Clear
History" button within that section. This opens an "Are you sure…" box. Click
"Yes." The box closes, returning you to the "Internet Options" window.

Options" window.
