daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Wicker
 

Joan was 16 years old.

This is Joan my oldest sister.  Died later when we came back from California back in 1972.  She has been my inspiration for singing to children's hospitals such as Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas and Shreveport LA Shrinner's Children's Hospital. 

I remember the times my parents took us to visit her in the hospital in California, I guess that's why my heart goes out to the children and parents of children with diseases or burned or for whatever reason they are in continuous hospital care.  God still has a purpose for these wonderful angels we call our own.

I thank God for my parents and their guidance.  Growing up I may not have done everything they wanted me to and at the exact time but as a mother now, I look back and see all the good things that they were trying to and have instilled in my life of values.
